Web-based Information About Warfarin For Patients
 
Warfarin is a  high-risk medication where patient information may be critical to help ensure safe and effective treatment.  Considering the time constraints of healthcare providers, the internet can be an important supplementary information resource for patients prescribed warfarin. This study investigates the quality, suitability and readability of patient information about warfarin presented on the internet.

Compliance with contact lens care and maintenance instructions is considered to be the most important aspect of the safe and comfortable use of lenses. This study demonstrates that non-compliance with lens care procedures among a group of young, university-based soft contact lens wearers is common.

Left Ventricular Thrombus and Acute Myocardial Infarction
 

Because of the limited use of echocardiography in certain regions, routine complications of acute myocardial infarction are not fully appreciated and may go unrecognized, contributing to increased cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. This study bring focus to this common clinical condition and highlights the clinical utility of echocardiography in facilitating timely and accurate diagnosis by reporting a case of large left ventricular thrombus in a patient with cute myocardial infarction.

Laryngeal Tuberculosis
 

Laryngeal tuberculosis is rare and currently accounts for less than 1% of all cases of tuberculosis. This study reports a case of laryngeal tuberculosis in a 47-year-old man, and notes that Laryngeal tuberculosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of patients who present with any form of laryngeal lesion.
